Registration fees
Registration Fee
The cost for the 2011 season is $85 for one player, $130 for a family of two or more players, regardless of the division.
Raffle Tickets
All registration fees include eight books of raffle tickets, containing six tickets per book. Tickets are to be sold for $1/each or $5/book. Ticket stubs will be collected throughout the season and the drawing will be held at the annual banquet. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales are the property of the player/player's family.

Somerset Little League will waive the registration fee for any player with a parent/guardian serving overseas

Proof of Age and Residency
League Age
League age is determined by the player's age as of May 1.
Proof of Age
All players are required to provide ONE (1) proof-of-residence along with a birth abstract in order to register. As we have been collecting copies of birth abstracts, only new players and players who did not play in Somerset last year should need a birth abstract.
Proofs-of-residence include: copy of parent/guardians driver’s license (showing Somerset address), vehicle registration (showing Somerset address…no leased vehicles), utility bill, copy of school record showing address, tax bill, or magazine subscription. Anyone registering a player who does not have all the required paperwork will not be able to complete the registration, and will be asked to return when everything is complete. This will assist us in meeting Williamsport requirements for the season.

Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2010 Somerset Little League will be held indoors at Teamsworks Somerset, located at 732 Lee's River Avenue in Somerset.
- Tryouts for the American League (11-12 year olds) will be held on Wednesday, March 24 from 5-7pm.
- Tryouts for the National League (9-10 year olds) will be held on Thursday, March 25 from 5-7pm.
- If you can NOT make tryouts that evening, we'll also be having tryouts on Saturday, March 27 from 10-12.
ALL PLAYERS MUST ATTEND ONE OF THESE TWO DATES. If you can NOT make the tryouts, please notify us by clicking here or emailing contact@somersetlittleleague.com.

Uniforms
Player’s game shirts are required to be returned at the end of each season, a $25 replacement fee will be assessed for each shirt not returned to the league.
Required Volunteering
As part of the requirement for registration, each team is also required to provide a parent volunteer to help in the concession stand on their assigned dates and times. Parents may only be required to help once during the season. Managers will be given a schedule of their assigned dates and times, and will be required to provide the name of the volunteer for the scheduled times. Games will not begin unless assigned volunteers are assisting in the snack shack. If a team does NOT provide volunteers on their assigned night, they will forfeit their game.
